Friendly staff, the food was good, but not amazing. The meatloaf was actually pretty good, but not quite warm enough. The generous portion of spaghetti was tasteful but very expensive for spaghetti, especially at lunch (It was $18.) The bartender was conversational and engaging and other patrons were complimenting him on the generous pour.

So delicious! And the views! The food was great, we ate an early dinner and had the whole restaurant to ourselves for a while. You can see the slopes from the giant windows. The staff was friendly and recommend some family recipes that are on the menu. I highly recommend it!

I love this place! And the owners are the best! Sports bar on one side, quiet dining on the other side. It is like two places in one. And the Tuna steak dinner is superb. Everything they cook is fresh and homemade. This is the spot on Beech Mountain!

Wife and I stopped in for a beer, and had a great time talking to the owner/bartender, while enjoying beers from the local brewery (see photo). If we hadn't been so full from lunch in Boone, would have sampled their good looking menu --- and we will next trip to Beech Mountain. Looking forward to trying their Sunday Brunch!

LOVE LOVE LOVED this restaurant! New owners... been there about a year. Laid back atmosphere with a huge fireplace & even couch to lounge on while waiting on your meal! Full liquor bar & outstanding food. Went twice while we there (2 out of the 3 nights lol), & I ended up eating the same thing... loved it so much. Apples & warmed brie with a honey drizzle. Hubby had the yummiest burger... just had to take a few bites lol! Mmmmm..... wish they were closer!

This review is for the BEECH MOUNTAIN GRILLE, and not the previous restaurant at the same location. This is the kind of restaurant and menu this community needed. Their menu states Southern Comfort Foods, and they deliver it well. There were no negatives to our recent dining experience. Everything from the clam chowder to the meatloaf with loaded green beans was presented well and delicious. Very fresh salads, excellent service. We will definitely be returning there on a regular basis.

Update: unfortunately, this restaurant permanently closed. We have been wanting to try Beech Mt Grille for some time. Boy were we not disappointed. We decided to get some food to go. The lady that answered was so nice and helpful. I was deciding about two different salmon sandwiches. Since the food would be traveling, she suggested the salmon on Texas toast as it would hold up better. I was leaning towards that anyway. I asked them to apply some blackened seasoning and it came with lettuce and tomato and onion and chips and a pickle. It was OUTSTANDING and DELICIOUS It was still hot when we got home. It gets messy about halfway through but I ate ever scrap. My husband got the barbecue sandwich and loved it. We will be back. We r permanent residents and this will now be one of our go to restaurants!!
